I was talking to a friend of mine that works at a large machine shop today about the bolt that snapped on me. He took one look at it and said he could make me a whole set for the timing pulleys out of titanium with no problem. I told him that if they worked out I may know of a bunch of guys that just may be very interested in getting them also. They have all sorts of machines there to test tensile straights, sheer pressures and what have you. First he is going to test the stock bolts and see just what they can take and how they react. Off the top of his head he is thinking titanium has the properties needed for the job these bolts do, but it could be that some other metal may be better suited, but he doubts it. Anyway it will be well researched and tested before it goes on any car, much less mine..lol. So for now if you would just do a reply to this post so I could get an idea of who would be interested. Don't ask about price, it's WAY to early to start trying to guess at this right now.
